I am a senior at Penn State pursuing a degree in Engineering Science. I have been interested in engineering from the age of twelve when I  participated in a “Girls in Engineering” day that was held for my eighth-grade class.

I continued to take classes in the engineering program in high school and joined the “Technology Student Association,” an organization that gives high school students the opportunity to compete in many technology related events. 

Once at Penn State, I discovered the Engineering Science major, and became excited about this program after learning that I could customize it to focus on my interests.
